This spring, the inquisitive little heads in the Suncokreti group at Bukovac kindergarten under the guidance of their teachers, learned about electricity and electrical circuits.
Elektroprojekt took part in this activity and grasped an opportunity to present to the children how electricity is generated by using a homemade model of a small hydroelectric power plant and simulating the operation of turbines.
The children learned that Croatia is one of the pioneers in the field of energy through a story about the Jaruga Hydroelectric Power Plant, the oldest hydroelectric plant in Europe and the second oldest in the world, and about Šibenik being the first city in the world supplied with alternating current for its facilities.
We welcome such activities that encourage children's curiosity from an early age and open their minds to energy and technologies that drive our world.
We look forward to future collaborations of this kind!
