DESCRIPTION:
The Glogovica retention basin, which is created by the construction of an embankment dam, is located in the Glogovica River valley between the settlements of Podcrkavlje and Glogovica. By retaining the Glogovica, all downstream settlements in the Slavonski Brod area are protected from flooding caused by torrential waters arriving from the Dilje area.
